Mountain Valley Baptist Church

Nestled in the sprawling Round Valley, Mountain Valley Baptist Church has a vision to see the Lord do great and mighty things in the town of Challis, Idaho. Through strong preaching and the leading of the Holy Spirit, our Pastor has a passion to see souls saved and lives changed. The Lord has done great things in our church over the years and we are excited to see what the Lord will do in the future. Come join our family and rest assured you will always hear the truth!

This is an old paths, King James Bible, classic hymns, friendly folks kind of church. It's not a stuffy or "too good for you" kind of environment at all. The people love the Lord, there are fantastic children's ministries, and the pastor preaches God's Word. If you are most concerned with finding a church that sticks close to God's Word and the principles It teaches, I'm not sure what else you could want when looking for a home-church.

I love this church so much! From my first visit, I was greeted with such outgoing friendliness that I felt welcomed right in. I didn't feel like a visitor. The Pastor preaches truth from the King James Bible, and I learn so much every service. I can send my child to all Bible studies and activities with confidence that she is getting taught the things of the Lord.
